MAC Cosmetics set to open Exeter store:

MAC Cosmetics, described as ‘a broad line of color cosmetics, makeup tools, skin care and foundations for professional makeup artists’, is believed to be heading to Princesshay Shopping Centre.
The company are recruiting new staff online for Exeter, including makeup artists.
‘Various’ full time roles are being sought to be filled in the store when it opens in May.

Early rumours suggest the store will occupy the Snow + Rock space, opposite Debenhams.
MAC, which is part of the Estee Lauder group of glam-luxe cosmetics brands boasts Miley Cyrus as the face of its Viva Glam! Collection. Other celebrity ambassadors for the brand have included Rihanna, Linda Evangelista, Pamela Anderson and Catherine Deneuve.

MAC - short for Make-up Artist Cosmetics - was created by Canadian photographer and makeup artist Frank Toskan, who wanted colour cosmetics that would maintain their good looks on camera. The brand became a major hit with stylists, models and makeup artists, with the first MAC outlet launching in a Toronto department store in 1984.
Then a New York cabaret singer, Madonna boosted the profile of the brand when she posed in a MAC tee-shirt wearing its classic matte red lipstick and prompting the question; who’s that girl?
MAC's also teamed up with Disney to release makeup collections inspired by the animation iconic leading ladies, including Cinderella, Malificent and Snow White's wicked stepmother.
